Tell us your macOS version, VersionMapper version, what you selected, what happened and what you expected. You don't need to send confidential documents.
Do not include passwords, sensitive data, or private document text. Screenshots and exported reports can disclose file paths; review them before sharing anywhere.

Does VersionMapper upload my files?
No. Comparisons happen on your Mac. A file held only in iCloud or another storage service may first be downloaded by that provider so VersionMapper can read it.
Does VersionMapper automatically save comparisons?
No. Comparisons are snapshots of the chosen items. Use Refresh to rescan after editing. The app does not maintain an automatic history of your document contents.
Can VersionMapper compare Microsoft Word documents or images?
It can compare their file contents and report when they differ, but it does not perform Word-specific text extraction or pixel-level image comparisons.
How do I remove my app data?
Before removing VersionMapper, choose VersionMapper → Clear VersionMapper Data… to optionally clear app-owned preferences, cache and support files. This will not delete compared documents or exported reports.
